Tahitian cultured pearl |

The obtaining of a Tahitian pearl, cultured pearl, requires a knowledge.
Oysters producing Pearl of Tahiti (Pincatada Margaritifera) are the object of a constant care before and after the graft.
We favored the setting-up of a colony of small fishes which eliminate " gently " the parasites who perturb the growth of oysters with a pearl of Tahiti inside.
We watch permanently the depths of the lines of Tahitian pearls 's oysters according to the season, to the temperature and to the wealth in micro organisms. |

The graft is made with nucleus of the best quality on oysters perfectly healthy at moderate cadences. Regular controls after graft are made.
A duration of growing after graft of at least 18 months for Tahitian cultured pearls and 2 years for keshis is scrupulously respected, even if the conditions of growth on our site would allow to decrease the time of necessary breeding for obtaining the thickness of mother-of-pearl required for the export (0.8mm at present).
The owners Monique and Bernard Champon and their team chose the quality to develop loyalty of their clientele. We supply only pearls and jewels resulting from our farm and the quality criteria are always superior to the official standards current. |
